This is the poster I designed for the project "Bangkang Papel Art Drive" an outreach project being organized by a non-profit group called "Bangkang Papel" (or "Paper Boat", in tagalog), led by Ms. Sheena Melican.
The project aims to raise money through donated artworks to help the children victims of the super typhoon Haiyan.
The concept is inspired by the storm surge that happened during the storm. I used colors that look childlike because the project concerns children. The paper boat shape symbolizes the "help" that the Bangkang Papel will offer.
